The new Procurement Act which will reform the existing procurement rules received Royal Assent in October 2023 with the pervious government. With the change in government the new Act is now planned to come in to force on 24th February 2025. 

 

The private sector will need to adapt quickly to the changes coming in the rules and that combined with the fiscal challenge this government faces means a likely challenging road ahead for those in the private sector looking to grow and sustain their businesses by renewing or winning new government contracts.
